XpresSpa Airport Relaxation

Needing to kill some time at the Orlando airport waiting for our flight back home, I just happened to spot massage chairs. Going closer I noticed it was an XpresSpa so I glanced over the menu and the crick in my neck drove me straight to the Stress & Tension Eliminator (15 min / $35). With Orlando being an extremely busy international airport, it was no surprise that I had to wait a couple minutes before I could start.

Sitting back in a mechanical massage chair, it was extremely relaxing getting my face, shoulders, hands and arms massaged with a technician who had a very nice touch. The hustle and bustle of the outside world passing by the storefront didn't seem to bother me one bit.

They have all types of massages, including a full body in a private room, along with facials, manicures, pedicures, facials, and yes, waxing! A bikini wax is even on their menu (I'm sure in their private room). I asked the receptionist (or she could have been the manager) if they do a lot of waxing and she said that they do some, especially eyebrows. I saw the wax pot on and ready to go.

In my opinion, their prices are on the higher side, but they don't list them on their website. At home I would never pay $35 for a 15 minute massage service. But when that is your only spa option, it makes a world of difference. XpresSpa currently has locations throughout the United States in some of the busiest airports, and three in Amsterdam.
