When I began writing for this Site in 2008, home laser and IPL hair removal products were just making their way onto the scene. Not only have many products launched, they've been updated, created a family of systems and lowered prices along the way.

A name you already know, Remington, has an IPL (intense pulsed system) hair removal system called Remington i-Light Pro 6000 that's a bit newer on the scene here in the United States. We got our hands on two, so naturally we had two people test it out. See what they thought of the skin sensor, the pain, treatment times and what you're probably most interested in....how much hair it reduced. Check out the review.

Hair No More Reviews

Hair No More a two part system consisting of a hair removal cream (depilatory) and hair inhibitor in a mist or gel form. Their depilatory called Hair Vanish Cream works like a normal hair removal cream, where it's put on covering the hair for about 5 - 7 minutes or so and then wiped off. After the skin is dried, the hair inhibitor is immediately put on. According to their website it looks as if the inhibitor is to be applied twice per day the first week and then once per day thereafter which is supposed to reduce hair over time.

The system doesn't look like it's anything revolutionary. But because Hair No More (compare prices) is an As Seen on TV product, I have gotten some emails asking about it. Have you tried it? Tell us about your experience in the hair removal forum.

Trienelle Reductase 5 Reviews

Trienelle Reductase 5 is a hair growth inhibitor that is supposed to reduce women's facial hair growth by being applied twice per day. According to their website, "In a 90-day study, users saw an average reduction of 54% in their perception of their overall facial hair problem, with the improvement occurring steadily over the 90 days."

It also claims anti-aging properties with ingredients like retinol, salicylic acid, organic zinc, and botanicals. Trienelle Reductase 5 (compare prices) sounds very interesting as facial hair often becomes thicker and darker, especially as women age. So I would love to hear if and how it has worked for you. I had never heard or remember seeing the line Every Man Jack until I saw the reviews on out About.com Skincare Site guided by Jen Adkins. I don't know how I missed these budget-priced men's products when they can be found on the shelves of places like Target and Whole Foods.

Looking for Dermology Hair Removal Cream Reviews

Once again I'm asking my readers to help me with some reviews. This time it's for Dermology Hair Removal Cream. I know there are a lot of hair removal creams on the market. But when I got an email asking me about the product, it made me very curious because this one doesn't offer the same kind of precautions I normally see.

First of all it says it can safely be used on any part of the body. Since hair removal creams are strong products because they actually break down the hair so that it can be wiped off, most can't be used on the genitals. Secondly, it also gives the okay for the eyebrows. I have never heard of a hair removal cream suggesting to be used near the eyes, it's understandably always a big no-no.

Beyond being a hair removal cream, it calls itself "an advance hair inhibitor system." It has claims on the page such as, "Our product has proven to eliminate regular shaving, waxing and the use of tweezers." And rivals itself against other hair removal methods saying it's "the most effective alternative to expensive laser treatments and electrolysis."

Looking for Crotex Cream Reviews

I get a lot of emails asking me about how a certain product or treatment works. The latest one was for Crotex Cream which emerged in 2008 with headquarters in Cyprus. It's a two part system that has you remove hair with a special Hair Removal Cream (100 ml) and then apply their After Hair Removal Cream (150 ml). However these aren't your run of the mill creams you can pick up at the drugstore, the combo has a very hefty price tag of $575.

Why so much? It boasts permanent hair removal. In fact on their F.A.Q. page one question is "Does hair stop growing after the Crotex Cream has been applied on skin for real?" The answer, "Yes, after you applied the cream on a certain skin area, hair will never grow back there."

Now if it really does work without adverse side effects, I can understand why it's so expensive. But I've never heard of a cream that can make hair disappear forever. It says it can be used on the face, hands, legs, underarms and even bikini area. So why have I never heard of this product before?

It doesn't go into huge detail about how the product works. I didn't find a complete ingredients list on their website, but some mentioned are black caviar, and vitamins like A, C, E, including iron, copper and magnesium.

Another really interesting tidbit about this product is that they only make batches twice per year. So even if you decide on shelling out the $575, you may have to wait for the next release date for it to be shipped out.

Lush's unique facial cleanser and soft exfoliator Angels on Bare Skin is a fairly good find for those with sensitive skin. It gets the job done and makes your skin feel gently exfoliated and fully cleansed. But, it is expensive and the product is a little messy and odd-smelling.

If you are looking for a daily moisturizer for your sensitive skin, I don't recommend Dream Cream. It may be more suited for problem skin or extremely dry skin that is also sensitive. I am putting my jar back on the shelf and may take it back down if I get a sunburn or have some trouble spots with my skin.

Lush: Celestial Moisturizer is a great find for those with sensitive skin. It has a lightweight, non-greasy formula and keeps your face hydrated throughout the day. It works great underneath make-up as well. However, it is missing SPF which a facial moisturizer should always have.

According to their website, Lush currently has 18 bombs to choose from, however new scents come regularly. They all have fun, unique names such as: Champaign Supernova, The Happy Pill and Sex Bomb. Lush's Bath Bombs are unique in the fact that you'll many times be surprised by what comes out of the tub.

5. Lush: Fresh Farmacy Facial Cleanser

Farmacy facial cleanser from Lush is great. For some of us, it's going to be just "the one" we've been looking for! It's really nice for sensitive and combination skin. The cleanser also helps to clear up and prevent acne breakouts. The ingredients in Fresh Farmacy all work well together to give a great soothing and clean feeling.

6. Lush: Fair Trade Foot Lotion

Fair Trade Peppermint Foot Lotion not only cools and hydrates, but helps small producing farms with Fair Trade. The most popular kind of foot lotion seems to be peppermint scented lotions. Guide Review - Sexy & Fun Betty Color

So when I got this assignment to try Violet and Fun Betty from Naomi, I decided to have a girl’s night out and bring the hair dye to get some comments from real people.

We tried the Fun Betty first, which is pink. Because the color is fairly light, it comes with a lightener to use first or the pink will not show up. Sometimes, it’s better to use someone else as a guinea pig, so I had my friend try it! She wrapped herself up in a towel and joined the party with the lightener on.

It wasn’t too much fun for her because she was uncomfortable standing in a room with cream on her pubic hair for 20 minutes, and it was not fun for the rest of us because of the chemical odor. She returned to the bathroom and rinsed it off and applied the pink color, but had to wait standing up...no fun for her.

After the allotted time and a quick rinse, she returned to show us the results. WOW, her pubic hair was pink for sure. The problem was it was a lighter shade of pink and it looked like the color of watered down blood. Not good for the area, if you know what I mean. I was going to pass on this color.

Sexy Betty (violet) was next. Since there was enough for two applications, another two friends gave it a whirl. It was the same stinky chemical smell, but we tried to override it with martinis. One girlfriend left hers on for 20 minutes, and the other 30. Viola, violet beauties! It was obvious that the longer the color was left on, the brighter the color would be. Sexy Betty also comes with a lavender body oil which smells delicious and is moisturizing too.
