Icthammol: Miracle Acne Spot Treatment?

I've been spending some time on Google searching for at-home ways to get rid of slivers.? I have this horrible sliver that for the life of me, I can't get out.? I'm feeling way too embarrassed to go to the doctor for help, though, I'm almost at that point.? There are so many tricks and tips to getting out slivers at home, especially when the typical pin and tweezers won't help.

I found and tried a few of the online recommendations including duct tape, soaking it in white vinegar and something my grandma did for us as a kid, white bread and milk over the top, covered in a Band-Aid for a full day.? Nothing has worked.

While I was doing my research, I came across Icthammol, also called Black Drawing Salve. (compare prices) Icthammol is used for all kinds of skin ailments, such as slivers, bug bites and infections and is readily available in drugstores.? It apparently "draws" or pulls the issue out of the skin and is even used in animals that have skin conditions.? And while reading more about it, I read that many people swear by it when it comes to treating acne.? I read it decreases swelling and reduces the pimple's life dramatically!
