The Bottom Line
The Man Groomer can help you in a pinch to rid back hair at home, without anyone’s help. Don’t plan on skin being super smooth, but feeling a bit of stubble right after you shave.

Guide Review - Mangroomer
I gave it to my brother to try. He didn’t have another mirror to hold up in his bathroom to really see what he was doing, so the hair was cut in splotches and he said it pinched a bit. The hair patches wasn’t the Mangroomer’s fault, because he should have used a mirror.
But I still had to see how close it cut the hair cutting directly against the grain of the hair. So I took it and shaved his back, it cut the hair off, but not very close. There was still some growth like stubble, that could be compared to a couple days after shaving. He's had the hair clippers without a guard used on his back before, and he said that gave him a much closer shave.
My brother doesn't have a lot of back hair. So I can't see it being a great option for a ton of thick, long hair. I can see it as something that would work well for a small amount of fine hair, or touch ups in between wax visits.
